My first project using a pattern! Yay!
Made from the size 14 Vogue 7219 pattern, version B minus the topstitching, which I miraculously found at Goodwill for 49 cents! All the pieces were there and the pattern was perfectly cut out.
Mrs. Norconk (the name on the envelope), I love you for caring for this pattern so well :)
The pattern was pretty easy to put together, but the instructions were a little hard to understand. Had to google some words. But it was to be expected, being my first time using a pattern and all.
And even though I’m a little bigger than what the pattern calls for, the finished piece fit wonderfully!
I did make a few adjustments to the sleeves (longer cuffs and no interfacing in them, added pintucks to top at the shoulder), but I will definitely use this pattern again.
