The Puppeteer motion-capture suit was designed for a series of performances about motion, gesture and communication.
In this edition the performer, wearing the custom designed soft sensor suit, puppeteers musical robots. As the performer begins to experiment with the system’s potential, her dance becomes both action and reaction.

The Puppeteer project is by Mika Satomi and Hannah Perner-Wilson. Each Puppeteer edition is realized in collaboration with individual dancers and performers.
This edition was developed during a one-month residency at LEMUR in Brooklyn, NY.

This has a lovely silhouette – must be something to do with the dancer in you! I,m intrigued at what you are doing – mixing technology with fabric/fashion shapes? Presumeably for performance art? I love the green shapes on the pale background – it looks a flattering idea!
