With only a few days till christmas, i found myself in a pinch when i realized i had nothing to wear. All my vintage patterns are in storage so i ended up at walmart and saw a pattern by lisette (made by simplicty) and it looked cute and quick.
once i opened it i realized, it was…kinda boring. well for a holiday dress. so i refashioned the pattern and tweeked it where i didnt need to make button holes (i also tweeted the sleeves since the original sleeves looked like they my cut off my circulation).
i added lace to the top bodice and back as well. i can easily say it is one of the most comfy dresses i own
you can see i paired it with my green cape (also made around the same time)
cotton sateen, lace, charmuse

That is really cute! I think I have that pattern too, so now I know how easy it is to tweak the pattern. Thank you for sharing!
