This took me ages to make but I’m not sure I like it now! Comments welcomed. On the upside it taught me how to do an invisible zip and I made my own bias tape for the neckline instead of following the pattern.

It’s great, so casual and yet so girlie too. It compliments your curves, he should like that!

I really love it. It looks super cool! and really well made. I always go off the things I make once they’re done, but then they grow on me again. If it doesn’t I’ll have it ;-).

It’s a very sweet dress, I’d love to own one similar :) The design of it as well as color choice, makes it useable larger part of the year. Such a pretty dress, very well done!

Awww that is so cute! It is quirky, but whats wrong with that? I love the bows and the big pockets. Really well done.

I’ve noticed that hubbys don’t always seem to “get it” with our creativeness and fashion, that they sometimes laugh at our work, because hey, they would never wear it (Thank goodness!) – I like your puffy dress – it’s really cute and well worth your effort.

Thank you ! I feel much better about it now! Maybe it’s because my husband laughed when I put it on for the first time! I thought it was quite quirky…and you are right about it being a learning process.

I think it’s absolutely adorable! You should be very proud of it; from what I can see it looks quite professional.

I love your puffy dress. It looks so comfy. I can’s see the reason why you don’t like it. Maybe because it was a long and tiring process? I think that you should be satisfied with it and consider it a part of the path towards perfection in sewing (eventually you’ve learned how to do the invisible zipper and bias tape, haven’t you?). Best of luck with future creations and happy sewing!
