Another one of the Midsummernight’s Dream costumes.
Puck’s costume is inspired by 17th/18th century just-au-corps (long story…).
I changed some pattern I had for this one, don’t know which though and in the end I drafted most of it myself anyway. Same with the vest.
By the way, the second picture is an actual movie-screencap, just because I liked it ;)
dark blue velvet for the just-au-corps with light blue satin lining and sleeve/pocket details
And the vest… no idea actually ;)

my lovely friend Beccy (who’s playing Puck), ‘cause she’s so cute in the picture :P

I agree with Polychromatin, I would live in that jacket! I live in a coastal area with a Mediterranean climate: cool in the morning (sometimes fog) and warm in the afternoon, so one has to have light layers. Also, I have a weakness for long, slightly fitted jackets and for those classic old-world silouhettes, but they’re hard to find. Where do you find theatre and costume patterns? I’ve never drafted my own pattern before. But you did a beautiful job and created a magical piece. I’m inspired.
