Brooklyn, New Yo...
very beautiful silk. really, such gorgeous fabric, a delight to touch and see.
with my overlocked-turned-to-the-outside-and-topstitched-down seams. i like doing seams this way because it is interesting and cool and makes for a nice experience for the wearer—all the threads are on the outside, so the only thing against your skin is pure silk. yummmmmm.
asymmetrical double breasted-style with lil velcro closures. pretty little bias at armholes and collar. princess seams front and back. oh, and it’s reversible, with bright side (middle pic) or lighter side of fabric to the outside.
silk, thread, velcro
