I was very excited about finishing all my animation work, so rewarded myself with a dress. I used a pattern from my stash which I hadn’t actually made before, New Look 6457, view E.
Very easy to make, good for beginners, but I’d suggest making the bodice back a little lower, as it’s quite difficult to get off and on by myself!
Belt is just an accessory, not part of the pattern.
More information and commentary on my brand new blog!
Roughly 2m of quilting cotton, 20" invisible zip (though you don't have to use an invisible zip), lots of binding tape!
