Made for weddings where I was invited as a guest this summer. I like the silhouette of this dress because it is so girlish and playful. Also I was inspired from fashion of the 20’s which this dress remind me of. So I tried to made the photos inspired from the style of Art Deco. Enjoy them! :)
Sewing was time consuming, but not difficult.

This is beautiful. I think this would make a beautiful destination wedding dress in a pastel color.

Lovely! I really like the detail on the neckline. Flounces are perfect for a wedding dress: I just published a project on the dress I realized for a wedding end of September and the skirt is made of three flounces!!! :)

Beautiful. I’ll bet that dress was quite the conversation piece. Sewers, don’t be intimated by chiffon! It’s gorgeous = it’s just needs to be dominated. Yes, you need to be the master of this fabric domain. Easily done with a can of Sullivan’s stabilizer spray found in the quilting aisle. It’s a temporary stabilizer…spray it your fabric becomes like think cardboard…so much easier to sew! When you’re done, you wash it with regular water, no soap.

Don’t forget to link your project to the pattern! Once it’s linked, others can easily find which pattern you used and it will appear under that pattern’s “Finished Projects.” Wonderful project!

Sorry I can’t find how to do it :(

Hey Dibii,
No problem. Let me help you – in the project upload form, there’s a section near the bottom that says “Based On,” it’s right above the “Save” button. If you check that box reading, “My project is based on an existing project or pattern on BurdaStyle” you’ll be able to type in the name of the pattern you used and your project will be linked to that pattern. :)
