Burda Style For people who sew

FINALLY I have these photos.
I made this dress here in Bulgaria a week ago for my sister, while she was in Moldova.
It took me only three days. I was very inspired that this dress will be a BIG surprise for her. She was looking for an open dress (with open back) everywhere.
So I decided to make one for her.
The design is my idea. I used 2 Burda patterns as a help to realize it. But I decided to do this open form on the back and I screwed up a little bit.
As I couldn’t see how it looks like on my sister , the back was a little bit wide that’s why she had to take it to the studio and make extra tucks(horizontal) and to put a ribbon with beads. The initial idea was an open spine. But I like this way too.
I made a rose with beads so she can put it in her hair but she decided to decorate a bra with the rose. I don’t like it very much because the beading and this front look are amazing without rose too. But it is up to her!
Her name is Nadya and she told me she felt like better than if she wore JLo ;) I am kidding.
Yeah! She was really happy!
