Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Simplicity prom pattern 3878 made up in red taffetta with a red voile overlay.
My first attempt at anything formal or boned.
It presented me with lots of headaches,regrading twice, extra length, I didn’t like how the dress hung with the net stuff attached to the lining so I made an underskirt instead.
She loved it which I guess is what really counts!

It was my daughters prom dress, so it has only been worn once for 5 hours.
