I remade a pair of jeans into a below the knee length skirt. I cut off the legs and ripped out the inside seams. I used the iron to press the garment flat with the right side out and clipped the front and back crotch so that the fabric could lay flat. I pressed the edges 1/4" to form a decorative front and back design. I ripped the seams of the legs open and placed them on the inside of the front and back openings and used seam hemming tape to attached the panels to the skirt. Once the pieces were secure I edge stitched the panels. Pleats were pressed into the front and back of the skirt. The edge of the skirt is unfinished to allow raveling along the edges.
