This project was completed to compete in the Remake Challenge! In this challenge – you are to take an exsisting garment and remake it into something new.
It was great to use draping to get from suit to dress!
My project was made using a vintage women's suit from the late 60's, early 70's. I limited myself to ONLY the fabric from the original suit. The only thing 'new' in the entire project is the invisible zipper, the hook and eye, the interfacing and the thread. The blue and white 'tweed' was the suit itself, while the blue and white polka dot was the jacket lining.
