My little brother’s really into gaming, but as a student, he often spends all of his heating money on beer and chips. I thought I’d make these fingerless mittens for when his room is icy cold, but still needs his fingers to win whatever FPS he’s playing…
I took my inspiration for the über-micro logo from the Pure Pwnage website.

They’re so easy – if you want the chart I invented for them then just drop me a line and I’ll see if I can dig it out :)

So I finally found the chart I made, left the room to fetch the camera and returned to find the remains of the chart in baby’s mouth … sigh.
They’re so easy to make though – I cast on 60 stitches in DK wool (8 ply? We use different terms in the UK so I hope that’s right.) I used a 2×2 rib for the cuff, then about 8 rows up (or wherever you like, really) I started the picure. I used the imaage from here http://www.seeklogo.com/images/U/Uber_Micro-logo-A15928B364-seeklogo.com.gif
I copied it onto 0.5cm square grid paper…
I finished the picture, knit until the gloves were the right length, then cast off, sewing up the sideswith room for a thumb.
Hope that helps – just yellif you want any more info :)
