The Prismatic Dress came about because of the abstract art design pieces that I do. Here, I combined both my art and fashion design into one! I attached my art piece “Sea Creature” for reference.
Patterns are hand-drafted by me. Bodice pieces are hand drawn, then carefully cut and stitched on.I preferred the texture of the frayed edges rather than the traditional applique style.
The bodice pattern has a bit of a folk-art feel about it which I love.
