The inspiration for this project was from Alexander McQueen and the use of his bold prints. If I wanted to buy one of his fitted jersey dresses, I would be paying over £1,500. This dress was at the fraction of the price. Because it was a fine jersey, I decided to line it with anti-static stretch microfibre. The pattern is from Angela Kane for her fitted t-shirt which I just adapted i.e. made longer and added an invisible zip at the back.
