I made this lightweight wool-blend coat using the Sandra Bettzina “Today’s Fit” pattern Vogue 1212. I love the seam lines, and the fit. The fabric was not the best choice, but it’s what I had on hand. I can’t wait to make this again in a fabric with a heavier weight to it (and not in plaid, so I don’t have to deal with matching up the print!!). I guess it’s Bettzina’s influence that the instructions for Vogue 1212 are so thorough (and include fit alterations). It was a pleasure to work from a pattern that doesn’t leave anything to the imagination.
I blogged about, naturally, so you can read more about it here

This is such a nice coat! I love the details of the piping, it adds a modern edge to your coat. And white coats are so beautiful and elegant.
