I made the bubble skirt of two different fabrics. First I made a circle skirt out of the shiny fabric, then I added some elastic on the edge and sewed a “blind” on the bottom. For the waist, I just doubled the net fabric over. For the occasion (classical concert) I sewed the skírt to a t-shirt in order to create an empire waist look. The matching scarf was made of left overs.
G-Street Fabrics: 2.97 $ per yard section: shiny watermelon elastic and see-through printed elastic tulle.
