I bought this crazy pair of shoes in aqua and because of I didnt have any garment to match, I found this almost equal, mint suede-velvet fabric. I really dont know the name of this material but really was a bargain. I bought about 5 mts. just in case I needed to do something more. Is easy to sew no need overlocked.
The pattern?? I adore this pattern is so Wow!! the same as my SUNFLOWERES FIELD FOREVER COAT. Remember? the yellow one?? From a Dutch pattern magazine. This pattern is such an amazing challenge because of all the asymetrical pieces conforming the backside.
I made changes to the original one, as for instance, the little bow at the back (for matching my shoes of course) and the big buttons at the front. They made the coat kind of 60´s retro.
The collar is also amazing have several pleats at the back .
I have this coat since last December. Couldnt find the moment for taking some pictures because it was so dark.
so I have this 2 options pictures taken using this coat for winter with all the heavy stuff (thanks to my friend Nadia for the pictures), and the second option, wearing it in a light situation for spring. I simply love it!!
