I bought this material a year ago and have been waiting for the perfect project to use it for and I finally found one! I used Nayantara’s Party Skirt instructions as a rough guide, but instead of making a waistband I used a 4 inch wide elastic.
I added in my pockets, but having never done it before without a pattern indicating where they should go, I accidentally put them too low (even though I measured and tested before sewing them in) so they are less functional than I would like them to be, but I can still use them a little bit haha.
I love this skirt, and the instructions were super easy and I can’t wait to make more!

Very pretty! I like your fabric choice and the combination with the black top!

thanks! I love this fabric, I also used it to make a dress (which isn’t finished yet) and I still have some leftover…not too sure what to make with it next…

Hm, it looks a little too stiff for a blouse in the photos – maybe a matching handbag?
