Description

A fully boned, lined, and trimmed formal corset I made for my friend to wear to her niece’s sweet 16. I modified a corset pattern to hold in her girls a little more. I also eliminated the lace up part and instead put in a zipper. I attached bias tape around the edges to give it a more finished look.

Material Notes

Fusible Interfacing, silky printed cotton, boning, trim, thread, bias tape, zipper

I really like this piece! It’s amazing how sometimes the fabric makes a simple silouette super beautiful!
