Description
I made this dress as part of my Spring Palette Challenge. The pattern in a vintage 1960’s Simplicity that I found at a charity shop for $0.50. This is my first time using a pattern that is drastically smaller than me, so it took some time and a few muslins to get a fit that I liked, but the end result is something that I am really happy with. My favorite part about the dress is the bright floral print of the fabric – it just makes me happy. For more, stop by my blog
Material Notes
Cotton sateen outer, cotton voile lining, zipper. Optional ribbon belt.

Thanks Hugs-and-Kisses! I usually shy away from a bold print like this, but I am loving wearing this.

Thanks flowergirl22. I’ve been having fun with some older patterns, many of them work well in today’s world.

Thank you lisa q! The fabric is Lisette, I found it at Joann’s – you may still be able to find it as well.
