Finally made some decent trousers…
I turned some trousers that fit me, I turned them inside out, with one leg inside the other. Then I drew around the leg using the seam as a guide. I turned them over and drew around the back, so I had two pattern pieces.
I used some left over material I had, and used my pattern pieces to cut out the ritgh size. I didn’t have enough fabric left over so they’re cropped. I added some folded material as the waist and just hemmed the legs. I wanted add something mroe fancy for cuffs but I only had scraps of material left. I added a zip, but wasnt sure how to make it invisible, but I sort of got it.
They’re still not perfect, I realised I hadnt quite lined up the pattern pieces properly which throw off some of my other pieces. I still quite proud of them.
Sorry, never know what material is what. But the pattern is chinese style.
Take a trip down the aisle in these gorgeous gowns, or change the fabrics for a spring party dress.
