I made this dress using New Look pattern 6022. I made some alterations to the back piece to eliminate the pleat or elastic on the back so it was slightly less sack-like.
It’s simplicity makes it a great pattern to showcase a print, but few seams make it easy to match the print if necessary.
I made this to wear to a wedding, but the polyester fabric isn’t very breathable so in the current heat it may not be very comfortable after all (I was a little bit blinded by the cute bird print, and yet still too lazy to line it when I could just wear a slip to stop the static :P)
