Modified Simplicity 1607 with criss-crossed shoulder straps, piped edges, and hand-picked side zipper.
I replaced the pattern’s drop waist and gathered skirt with a simple gathered rectangle, which had the added result of bringing up the hemline a little. The straps were awkwardly slipstitched to the bodice, because I’d gone ahead and self-faced everything without reading the instructions. I also installed piping after the fact, so these aren’t proper piped seams. I had to understitch everything to keep it in place. The hem is catchstitched.
