Description

This posh-looking reversible wrap could not be easier to make… I used some left-over fabric from past projects and tried out a very simple gathering technique found in a new sewing book (see link). Made it in about 30 minutes I think!

Take 2 metres of each fabric, cut it into strips 30cm wide, sew shut, press carefully and gather the ends with a few strong stitches, et voila! Making things that look this lush at such minimum effort should surely be illegal! Suitable for many different types of material.

Needless to say, very suitable for budding seamstresses who are after a spot of instant glamour!

Material Notes

Fabric, 2m length in two 30cm strips or 60cm wide strip folded over if using one fabric hand sewing needle Embellishments as required

Would also be cute with some jeans for a semi casual date. I love it! It reminds me of something Erte would make.
