Low funnel neck coat with and almost leg ’o mutton sleeve. Long cuffs have buttons along the length. Coat is shaped along the hemline in a curve. Hand dyed silver habutai silk lining, the neck has hand dyed silk velvet inside instead of wool to prevent itching. Covered buttons individually embellished with silver lame, sequins, beads and other fibres.
The coat and dress beneath were designed for the Master Taylor’s Guild "Golden Shears " Competition in 2009. The outfit reached the finals.

Pink wool, silk habutai and silk velvet to line. Traditional tailoring used for structure.
