Added Dec 3, 2013
This top is well drafted and sews up nicely. It is fitted at the waist seam; so if it is a little tight, the pleats don’t hang nicely. I would suggest that before you top-stitch the back neckline, you check for any gaping; I needed to take it in 2 cm so it wouldn’t gape on the back of her neck.
I used 4-way stretch, so I did not insert a zipper. However, I may insert a zipper on the next top, as the waist seam has no stretch, and could easily rip. For her preference, I will add more length on my next top. With this version, I added a one inch band to the bottom to give it a little extra length. I am also going to blind stitch the front neck facing down, as it continues to flip over on her.
