I bought this gorgeous tweed in a local fabric shop and just fancied making another Port Elizabeth top, but for the winter. It is always really warm in my office, so I thought it would be ok not to have any sleeves on at times.
I did a simple zig-zag line down the front, which I really love. I also made black lining, by using the exact same pattern and sewing the top in black ‘lining fabric’. I then only fixed the lining along both shoulders, and left the rest of the lining loose.
I love the way it looks and cannot wait to wear it to work tomorrow.
