Description

This project was actually a test run of the pattern to see how it fit me, and if I needed to make changes to the sizing. The fabric I chose is Amy Butler, and I still believe it to be a misprint – the colours are nearly fluorescent… The bias tape was left from another project, and there was just enough for the neckline, so on it went. Now, I actually think the fabric combo is crazy in a kind of cool way – am I wrong? The new thing for me here is that I used flat felled seams as well as turned seams, so the finish on the inside is so neat.

Material Notes

Amy Butler cotton, home made bias tape from Michael Miller gingham. For my next top I will use a lighter weight fabric.

I think you are right about the combo fabric working well. Looks great.
