Hello! I’ve made a couple of these so far and I just love them! The silhouette is trendy and flattering and they’re actually really easy to make.
So easy that I posted DIY instructions here on my blog. You don’t even need a pattern!
The skirt has box pleats all round with hidden inseam pockets, centre back zipper and grosgrain waistband.
I would love to hear your feedback and see your final product if you use my instructions!
Gorgeous printed cotton from emmaonesock.com. I’m so taken with the colours I can’t even tell you.
I’m really hoping that the lace trim I used to finish the hem and the grosgrain ribbon in the waistband are polyester, because I just realized that I didn’t pre-treat them. Oops.
One of the most beloved American designers passed last night. We look back at a few of his designs.
