Description

This is a very simple sundress, a basic bodice with a double-length rectangle skirt, which I shirred for some waist definition. I love it!

I made it from some beautifully soft rayon, which I bought on impulse because it has poppies on it, and they were my Grandma’s favourite flower.

Hey I really like this.. This is very much something I would wear and make for myself.. Did you make this off a pattern or did you make it up yourself? I can’t find a pattern with a singlet bodice that I like.

Hi – I just drafted the bodice from an existing dress, and made it wider at the waist to accommodate for the shirring around my waist. A basic bodice block would be a good starting point – happy to help if you have questions!
