I made one of these for my daughter almost three years ago. Once she put it on the only way I could get her to take it back off was to make a few more so she could change into another one. Now all those dresses are really starting to show their age and aren’t so easy for her to put on since she’s grown. Time to make a few more in a larger size. Fantastic, easy and very useful pattern. Thanks! :-)

Hello, the values of sewing they are included in the patern ? Les valeurs de coutures sont elles comprises dans le tissus?

I love this dress but the main problem I think is the amount of wasted fabric due to those bia straps! Has anyone got any ideas how to get round this and still use the minimum fabric possible? Thanks!

You could always buy some contrasting bias binding and use this?

I just cut mine in 2" strips and don’t worry about cutting on the bias and they work great. Save a ton of fabric. I have never had an issue with my bias strips cutting them this way. It is the same way I cut them for my quilts. Hope this helps.

I recommend buying wide double-fold bias tape for this one. It’s a huge time-saver and one package is good for two or three dresses.
