This is my second go at the blouse #109 from 08/2012 Burdastyle magazine. This time in a red and white cotton poplin. Like the last time I omitted the zippers in the sleeves, and only cut out t-shirt length (due to low amounts of fabric). This blouse requires very little fabric so it is good for stash-busting :) I added a buttonhole and one button to the back slit, and added small slits on each side (pretending it´s a design element, really it came out a little tight in the hips, so needed some more space ;)
App. 1.1 m cotton poplin

Thank you! Also good to know I’m not the only one coming up with creative solutions to unexpected fitting obstacles :)

Its lovely. I do that as well!! I pretend an adjustment or alteration was supposed to be like that lol. I made a peplum top in faux leather and forgot to make it bigger because of non stretch. I had to add a piece of fabric to the back like a pleat. It turned out ok and everyone liked it lol x
