I knit on a knitting board, its easier on my hands and my slight ADD (none of that counting rows etc etc..my mind is all over the place).
I wanted a very long, very yellow, very soft scarf. but the idea of spending $$ on it in the store is ridiculous. im not spending 60 bucks.
so i made my own.
Its organic cotton, dyed(non toxic) yellow. i got ti at a steal in a small yarn store in CT.
i loveeeee it!
its so soft and warm. i wish i had a coat made from it.
it took me longer than i would like, mostly because i forgot about it in the bottom of my closet and i went on to other projects. but i finished it and not im using the board for the holiday gift seasons. i hope people like scarves..lol

It looks lovely and snuggley. Yeah – what is a knitting board? I have a small counter that you put in the end of the needles and wind it forward each row you do – or alternatively have a note pad and make a tally chart!?

The name really reflects the scarf – it’s cute! What, may I ask, is a knitting board? I gave up trying to knit because I was the worst counter ever.
