I used Simplicity 5401 to make this skirt. Instead of the recommended fabric, I used twill because I wanted it to be washable but still heavy. She is slim so I cut at the sz 7 waist with sz 8 length. It could have been a little smaller at the waist.
This was my first time installing a zipper into clothing and I almost got it right – it was set a little too low. If I had the time, I would have tried again. But as usual, I barely finished in time!
