This is my first attempt at a BurdaStyle dress. I’m really pleased with the result! This is going to be perfect for the beach and then cocktails afterwards. :)
I top stitched the pleats on the neck line for a more professional finish.
I opted out of putting in the pockets – mainly because the first time I tried I put them in upside down.
There is a slight stylish slit on the left hand side of the skirt as I forgot to allow for a seam when cutting this piece of fabric.
I bought a very light jersey from E-bay for EUR2.20 per metre.
Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
