Great skirt, especially the fabric choice. I totally get you on the too short bit though. I did an Ida Maria skirt (which I should post) and it ended up sooo short. I wore it a few times with black tights but because it’s so poofy you feel like your hoo-ha’s going to be shown to the world if you bend or sit.
Regardless it looks great on you and I definitely concur with the other’s that some opaque tights would help with the shortness.

for the waist band, it’ll be your waist measurement + 10cm and 14 cm high, and then the skirt part will be your waist measurement x 2, and 37 cm high

I don’t think its too short! maybe put some black or red (to match the flowers) tights on and some gorgey shoes and you’ll look stunning!

I agree with the other comments – wear some coloured tights or leggings underneath and you could definately wear it. Gorgeous fabric!
