upcycling! made from a sheet i got for free for a smaller bed i no longer have. cut my own bias strips from the fabric. i used this simple pattern to practice shortening BEFORE cutting and it was all in all a success. the tie band is a tad bit high but i will live.
only purchase made was $1.29 for the elastic and the $3.50 for the pattern. cheap dress!

You’ve made this pattern actually look good. When I saw the original the two words I thought were “shapeless” and “sack”. Your version looks really cute.
