Description

Good pattern (I did need to add seam allowance) and great step-by-step guide. I didn’t have enough fabric to make the circle skirt, but two long rectangular pieces worked just as well.

I had already made a peasant dress in the same fabric for my 4yo. She’ll get a red belt too. I also made a simple rose hair clip from the same fabric I used for the belt. My daughter’s head band is just a double bow sewn to some elastic.

Material Notes

Polycotton (fabric and lining).
Cotton (belt and hair clip).

Love these – my mother used to make us matching dresses when I was young – nearly 60 years ago. Nice memories to treasure.
