This has been in planning for… forever. I think I got the fabric about a year and a half ago and was always planning to do exactly this dress with it. Now I SHOULD be studying for my finals and all of a sudden I’m finding the time to do this :-D
This is the same pattern I already used for Hermia’s dress (Burda magazine 05/08. No. 127) and I loved it and have been kinda jealous of my friend for having it… now I finally got to making it for myself! Which is very unusual, ’cause I rarely make stuff for me to wear, I usually give everything away :-P
By the way, I love how kinda retro it turned out to look with the polka dot fabric :-)
Note to the last picture:
I love these shoes, seriously, I do. And they’d match the dress so well… But I can’t wear’em, they give me blisters after 3 minutes. Very sad :-(
polka dotted cotton, navy blue satin for the lining (cause the cotton is VERY see-through…)
