Description

I have had this polka-dot fabric for ages and couldn’t decide what to do with it. After seeing a dress with a scalloped hem on Burdastyle (I think it was a how-to), it inspired me to fianlly do something with the fabric. This is a slightly gathered A-line skirt with a side zipper, scalloped edges, full lining, and a ribbon-detailed yoke.

Material Notes

Again, this was all fabric and materials lying around, but I’d guess about 3 yards of the main colored fabric, 3 yards of the lining, one zipper in a coordinating color, and about 1.25 yards of ribbon
