Polka dot PJ's 'twas!

Added Mar 18, 2012

George, South Af...

It was time for some real easy sewing… and polka dot PJ’s ‘twas! I found a soft and lightweight cotton, very reasonable priced :) My favourite, but definitely most inexpensive PJ’s!! I used my favourite patterns, shorts from my New Look pants (but used elastic for the PJ’s instead of a cord) and top from my recent t-shirt dress! The heart-cushion is also made by me. A plain white cotton cushion with a light grey lace covering the back of the cushion, and hearts of different sizes, colours, textures appliqued to the front. Adding some colour to my white & grey colour scheme :)

Nice! Love the fabric you used as well. I first I thought it was a jump suit then I read ‘shorts’

Ah thank you :) They are lovely – I hope you do end up making yourself a set too! Find yourself a very easy pants pattern, with an elastic finish, and easy t-shirt pattern, and there you go :) Good luck!!

I love your pj! I was thinking of making one in the same kind of fabric. It is definitely a great idea :) I hope mine turns out as good as yours! Well done for the cushion cover as well!!
