Polka Dot Pillowcase Dress

Added Nov 7, 2008

by jenshepard

Kittery, Maine, ...

Cute dress made from a pillowcase!
It is a little bit big now, but hopefully it will fit next summer!
I used the remaining part of the pillow to make a handkerchief.

Material Notes

1 pillowcase, 12 inches of 1/2 inch wide elastic, 1 package of bias binding (double fold binding tape), rick rack, and thread.

Sewzen (I saw her pillowcase dress and it inspired me), and this website for instructions

Pillowcases and bedsheets can have the prettiest designs. This one is perfect for your baby’s ensemble. So cute!
