I adored the Hot Hot Heat dress, so I knew I had to try the Maryy pattern when it came out. I did it in a polka dot polycotton that I got for about £1.60 a metre on ebay, nice! I added two buttons on the back, and as I didn’t want to risk buttonholes I added snaps behind them… however these are forever coming undone, so I’ll probably attempt the buttonholes soon or just sew the straps on. I’m keeping the button details though, they’re cute.

when I first saw it, I didn’t think much of the Mary pattern either. But it’s fun to see what other people have made and this is dress fantastic! Quite inspiring.
