I made the dress from from Vogue 8679 view C. I had bought three and a half yards of this black and white polkadot in a rayon/poly blend. I had to do a full bust adjustment that ended up adding a side dart, which is fine. Gives it more shape. I had already made a blouse and decided that I NEEDED the dress too. I sent off to have a matching bow belt made which I think will be just adorable for the summer. I also made a Karen Cardigan from the smallest of the Plus Size. Its really a wearable muslin as its much much too big for me. I tried shrinking it in the dryer as its a wool knit and it helped a little, but not a lot. Still, I like it styled with the white belt on this dress. I think its kind of fun and funky.
So the best part about the dress is that it can be accessorized for work or for a night on the town.
