A new dress based on a pattern from Burda Easy Fashion S/S2009
♥ Cotton fabric: 150cm wide, 200cm length of fabric is required ♥ 40cm (or longer) zipper ♥ Interfacing ♥ I also used a yellow buckle, which is a gift from Studio2Deko.

Oh coool! Did you have to wear it with a ruffled petticoat? Did you make the petticoat or is it RTW?

Great dress! I also like the buckle, but I have one question about it. How did you sew on the central part of the buckle onto the one side of the fabric? I’d like to sew a buckle onto some clothing, and I can’t figure out how to sew a strip of fabric around the central bar in the buckle while using a sewing machine. I might just have to hand-sew if I can’t find a tutorial. Any advice would be appreciated.

I can barely stand it! So So SOOOOooo Adorable! You would make Audrey proud! The material you picked is perfect for the cut. Polka-dots can be either to big or too small, the size of the dots really flatter the dress. Beautiful !!!
