I must admit, I do not own the book but based my design on the stuff that could be found on the internet. I love geometric shapes and was directly attracted to the ‘Veronica Geometric top’. Yet I wanted to make a dress version of it, and to make it a bit more ‘my own’ I did not make the crosspoints mirrored but slightly out of centre.
It’s wintertime in my country (snow and freezing tempratures) so I made a winter version with wooly fabrics and some lining. The dress itself is sleeveless but it was just to darn cold to wear without a shirt under it haha!
My mom (who made the pics) does not sew much anymore (I learned from her) but she really wanted to make this one for herself for it has slimming qualities ;-)
Warm wooly fabrics I bought at the market for so little money, makes it even nicer I think!

Great dress! I like the slight asymmetry. It gives the dress a wonderful edge without being loud.
