This is a super easy dress to whip up on your serger! I cut the dress out one night and sewed it together in an afternoon the next day. I used a stretch velvet I got on sale at the local fabric strore, and ordered the crinkle silk online for the cowl neck. I used the size 4 dress pattern and made no alteration to the pattern. I usually wear a size 2 or 4 in RTW. The dress is roomy, but it is super cute. I could pair it with skinny jeans and boots or ballet flats. In my pic, I am wearing colored tights under lace stocking and boots. Lots of options with this dress!
2 yds of stretchy velvet and 1 yard of crinkle silk for the cowl neck.
