Vogue 8723 This dress was quite quick to make. As I used quite a stiff fabric I found Jorth’s advice useful http://jorth.blogspot.com.au/2011/11/pattern-review-vogue-8723.html when I came to gather the skirt. This dress only rates about a 4/10 for swishy-swirly-skirtness, but it has pockets in which to hide my hands, small rodents with twitchy noses and picked-up pennys.
