The project is based on a 1969 Simplicity pattern (No.8418) Unfortunately, the “how to sew” instructions were missing from the pack, so I had to figure it out myself.
I believe I got the sizes a bit wrong, they indicated a waist size of 27", which proved to be a bit large for me. Well, a lesson to learn!
I used a wool mix fabric which I have used before for my Sherlock Holmes Burda top.
I would say a good use for the fabric leftovers!
All in all, a bit disappointed with the result, I expected them to come a lot shorter, however, after wearing them today, I cannot tell you how cool, fun and comfortable they are!
Change of heart!
Notes: worn with sequin layered Zara jumper, real fur (fox) vintage collar and Marks & Spencer tan boots.
wool mix fabrics, Coats purple buttons, trouser zip (side zip)
